Follow-up plans (sequences)
Up to 6 steps, in the same thread, that stop on a reply.
Settings → Follow-up plans. A plan has up to 6 steps after the first email, each after the number of days you choose.
Step types
- Email: sent in the same thread as the first email.
- Call, LinkedIn or another task: appears in Tasks on the day it's due while the plan carries on.
- SMS or WhatsApp: sent through your own Twilio account.
Conditions and variants
- Send a step always, or only if they opened, didn't open, clicked or didn't click.
- Write two variants of a step; reports show which earned more replies.
- Steps can wait for a sensible hour in the recipient's time zone.
When a plan stops
When the person replies (out-of-office replies don't count), bounces, unsubscribes, books a meeting, buys, or is marked won or lost.
